Why have “Earth day” when we can have "Earth EVERY day!"? You can help make that a reality with the powerful climate change fighting tools that live right in your kitchen drawer! Down below, I’ll share a link to a very special short video I helped make about this.
It’s easy to feel helpless when political policies are made in direct conflict with our personal values. It’s terrifying to see the erosion of environmental protections.
Believe it or not, you have tremendous power in your personal contribution to global warming. No, this isn’t only about the car you drive, it’s about something MUCH more personal.
Yep, I’m talking about what you choose to put at the end of your fork. Most people think that the biggest environmental polluters are vehicles like cars, planes, trains, etc. The truth is that a major human-caused contributor to heating up our planet is methane gas, which most abundantly comes from...cow farts. True!
In addition to global warming, animal agriculture is responsible for increased deforestation, loss of biodiversity, over-consumption of water, pollution, and more.
What can you do, personally? Reduce (or preferably) eliminate your animal product consumption. In this moment, that may sound impossible, but I promise you, ultimately it won’t be. Well, let me rephrase that—the transition will require effort though the actions themselves are simple.
More than anything, it’s about a paradigm shift and once you’ve made it with all the knowledge, tools, and information you need, I doubt you’ll ever look back. In my two decades of being vegan, I have never heard someone say that they wish they’d waited longer to change their diet.
Think about it: When we reduce or eliminate our consumption of animals, we decrease our carbon footprint. Every single time we eat! How’s that for personal power?
And now, here’s that video to inspire and educate you further. If you’re ready to take the next step and want a little help, start here. I’m here for you with all the resources you need!
