Allison Rivers Samson is
a healer who is currently deep in healing herself. Stay tuned for upcoming offerings to work with you in healing Inherited Family Trauma and moving to heal trauma that may be currently stuck in your body.

She has worked as a Sustainability Educator who empowers youth and builds communities. She consulted organizations and businesses to align actions with values and use their work for good and profit to benefit all.

Allison co-founded PWR (Plastic Waste Reduction) Coalition, is an award-winning vegan chef, author of
Quick + Easy DIY Salad BarComfortably Yum, and The Dairy-Freedom Cookbook; co-creator of The Dairy Detox, Nia First Degree Black Belt instructor, and mom to lifelong vegan Olivia.

Certified in Plant-based Nutrition from Cornell University, Allison received her training as a Health and Wellness Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. For 20 years, she operated Allison’s Gourmet, the first online vegan bakery and chocolaterie, which she retired in 2016.

"Allison exudes confidence and knowledge while connecting with her audience in a joyful manner. She creates a space of non-judgement where people feel free to stretch their boundaries, looking to her as their guide while learning to trust their own inner wisdom. And her Nia classes are not to be missed!"

Maribeth Abrams
Board Member, North American Vegetarian Society, Host of Vegetarian Summerfest

"I was fortunate enough to see Allison speak on self-care and, wow, did it come into my life at the right time. She said exactly what I needed to hear about the importance of nurturing ourselves, of enjoyment for its own sake, of speaking to ourselves in the kind, loving way that we would speak to someone who matters to us. Allison‘s talk—genuine, engaging, compassionate—resonated with me in such a way that I immediately started tearing up and after that, began developing a plan for self-care. Months later, I am still busy, but I am enjoying life a lot more: I am learning how to gracefully decline committing myself to more than I want to, to speak to myself in a loving way, and to take time to do the things I love without the need to justify it as productive."

Marla Rose
co-founder, Vegan Street Media

"Allison knows how to help you find room for yourself, even in the busiest life. She also knows how to make healthy eating indulgent, turn workouts into personal play dates, and turn what you have to do into what you can hardly wait to do. She‘s kinda magical."

Victoria Moran
author of The Good Karma Diet

"Allison Rivers Samson is a respected and dynamic speaker and teacher. Having attended her numerous lectures, I'm always inspired and impressed by her level of compassion and integrity. I highly recommend Allison as a top notch lecturer who will engage and motivate audiences during any speaking engagement. "

John Pierre
author, nutrition and fitness consultant

"Allison doesn’t just speak of the material aspects of self-care, such as sleep, exercise, and good food, though even there she has a unique and wise twist, when she points out that taking pleasure in vegan food promotes joy on the planet. She also addresses the deep psychological aspects of self-care by encouraging each listener to cultivate an inner voice of self-encouragement and kindness. This message abides with me and helps me, as I do my work of promoting veganism."

Carol Hee Barnett
New York

"I had the most fabulous time attending a retreat to Bali that was coordinated by Allison. The retreat in itself was amazing but Allison made it magical! The self-care sessions that Allison created were transformative. She taught us things that I hope to never forget. And she reminded me of so many things that I already know but she was able to plant seeds of self-nurturing with deep roots. Allison always speaks from a place of love and intention. I am so grateful to have had her guidance. I look forward to working with her again in the future. "
